WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A JOURNALIST
IN MY COUNTRY

70 young and budding journalists from 21 European countries (among them Armenia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, Croatia, Latvia, the Ukraine, Hungary, Greece, Finland, Ireland, Spain, Poland and Germany) applied with exiting submissions on what it means to be a journalist in their country to the M100 Youth Media Workshop which will take place from 21st to 25th August in Potsdam. 30 candidates have been selected to attend workshops, discussions and working groups to explore the “journalism of the future”

In the margin you can find an election of texts by applicants for the M100 Youth Media Workshop.

The participants will examine future chances and challenges for young journalists in Europe by addressing various issues together with representatives of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and German media experts.
