Successful integration / failed integration
This year 27 young and budding journalists from 12 European countries (among them Bulgaria, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Great Britain, Ukraine, Greece, Poland and Germany) were chosen to take part in the M100 Youth Media Workshop which will take place from September 3 to 7, 2009 in Potsdam. In the margin you can find a selection of the texts by applicants for the workshop under the topic: “Successful integration / failed integration. My experiences with integration and the media in my country.”
During the workshop participants will discuss the situation of immigration and immigrants in different European countries; the differences in education, socialisation and integration and will produce different journalistic works: videos, radio reports and blogs.
The M100 Youth Media Workshop takes place in the Electronic Media School in Potsdam Babelsberg and is supported by the Medienanstalt Berlin-Brandenburg.
