There are common shared values. There is somehow a European persona that stands alone and is admirable. Pluralism, multiculturalism must invite us to be compassionate and understanding. Multiculturalism in Sarajevo means something very different from multiculturalism in Britain or Sweden or in Austria – I would say – having moved from one country to another as a refugee from Austria to England.
