Boris Biancheri
born in 1930
Boris Biancheri is born in Rome from an Italian father and a Russian mother of Baltic descent. A carrier diplomat, he has served as ambassador of Italy to Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Currently he is president of ANSA, the national news agency, and of Ispi, an Institute of international politics based in Milan.
Boris Biancheri is married to Flavia Arzeni, a Professor of German literature at the University of Rome. He is presently the Chairman of the Italian Association of Newspapers Publishers. He is also a columnist for the daily “La Stampa” and the author of books on international affairs as well as of novels and short stories.
